Introduction
Dear Customer, Saroukh is a proud young Egyptian company - a "door-to-door" delivery service company that aims to enable e-commerce in Egypt through a high-quality integrated technological platform and information system and a professional and specialized work team.
Saroukh owns its own information system, platform and application, and its team of engineers works on developing and improving it continuously and practically, through various methods and different linking methods, to provide one of the most efficient integrated services in this field.
We are pleased to present the pricing plan and terms and conditions between us as follows:
Pricing Terms
A- Pricing Terms and Conditions:
- The price list in Egyptian pounds, excluding expenses and value-added tax 14%.
- The price list is for one shipment for everything that can be shipped inside the small and regular flyer. Additional fees are calculated for large and extra-large flyer bags and white bags according to the table below.
- Prices cover shipping cost and collection service cost upon delivery up to 3000. As for shipments that exceed the collection value of 3000 pounds, the second party will be charged 1% on the additional amount that exceeds 3000 pounds.
- Prices are for one order that fits in one Saroukh flyer regardless of weight, provided that it does not exceed 5 kilograms for one shipment. Saroukh will not receive shipments outside the flyer or its packaging materials.
- Without prejudice to the provisions of this contract, both parties agreed that the prices stipulated are subject to any amendments by increase by the first party.
Payment & Collection
B - Collection Amounts and Shipping Costs
Transportation costs for delivered or returned shipments are deducted from the total collections, then Saroukh makes a bank transfer or electronic wallet transfer daily upon your request to your account, according to Saroukh company's accounting cycle.
You must ensure that the bank account or electronic wallet data belonging to you is filled in the contracting stage before starting to implement the services as necessary.
Insurance Option
Saroukh undertakes to compensate you for any loss or damage with a maximum amount of 500 (five hundred) Egyptian pounds only for one shipment or the declared value on the damaged or lost shipment bill, whichever is less.
Compensation Terms:
- The case of damage or loss must be reported immediately when the case is proven (for example, at the moment of receiving returns). Saroukh will not make any compensation in case of delay in reporting (for example, after the representative leaves), and Saroukh is not responsible for any loss or damage in case of not reporting or delay in reporting.
- After reporting, Saroukh has a maximum period of 14 days for internal investigation.
- The second party is not fully responsible for any product from the following list of prohibited products, or shipments packaged incorrectly or in violation of the proper packaging method that exposes them to damage (please refer to our guide for proper packaging methods), or any shipments whose individual value exceeds ten thousand Egyptian pounds.
Prohibited Items
Prohibited Products:
These are goods classified by government and regulatory entities or any other entity as prohibited goods and also listed in Saroukh's list of prohibited items; for example, but not limited to:
Animals & Food
- Humans or animals
- Any food or drink items subject to spoilage
- Any alcoholic/spirited beverages and tobacco products
Dangerous Materials
- Explosive or flammable materials
- All types of drugs and narcotics
- All types of weapons, ammunition and explosives
Valuable Items
- Gold and platinum in any form
- Precious stones and gems
- Financial instruments and currency
Restricted Items
- Products without legal permits
- Materials offensive to religions
- Items exceeding 10,000 EGP value
Other Terms
Second: Other Terms and Conditions
The second party undertakes, within the framework of the services provided by the first party subject to the contract, not to carry out any illegal or immoral acts or any fraud or deception or any acts with goals contrary to Egyptian laws and contrary to the public interest.
The second party declares that its use of the services provided by the first party within the framework of this contract or terms and conditions is use within the framework of Egyptian laws, and for example, but not limited to, these laws may be related to financial laws, money laundering, commercial violations, and terrorist operations and immoral acts.
The second party bears full and complete responsibility for the content of its shipments. The second party acknowledges its commitment to the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt in obtaining the product to be shipped and its suitability for use and that it has fulfilled and obtained the necessary licenses, permits and approvals to be valid for its customers once transported through the first party.
Contract Duration:
This contract is valid for one year from the date of the first shipment and is renewable for other equal periods according to prior agreement between the two parties.
The contract can be cancelled by either party by giving notice via email thirty days before cancellation.
Governing Law:
This contract is subject to Egyptian law in its implementation or interpretation, and in case of any dispute between the two parties resulting from or on the occasion of this contract - including, for example, but not limited to, its implementation, interpretation, termination or cancellation - this dispute shall be resolved amicably between the senior management authorities of both parties.
